Let's cook together! Shauna is currently running virtual cooking demos on Zoom for as many as 1 person to 100 people at once! Are you and your family looking for some covid-safe extra-curricular activities? Well, great news! I am now offering after-school Zoom cooking classes for families with kids of all ages. These VERY POPULAR group cooking classes are both fun and educational. Feel free to get some friends together and join as a group. So much fun for everyone! I will demonstrate step-by-step meal prep, along with nutrition education, food safety awareness, knife skills, and everything your kids will need to cook up delicious dinners.

Each class will run on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. with the exception of the March 24th class which will be at 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. It is a 4 week program!
Price is $100 + HST ($113). If you can’t make a class, you can request a recording of the class. This program is sold as a group of 4 and once you sign up, all sales are final!

2. February 3d –Ramen soup + cheesy crackers + sweet and salty chocolate bark
3. February 10th – Ricotta gnudi + roasted broccoli and cauliflower + shortbread with chocolate bar topping
4. February 17th – Chicken fingers + tangy cucumber salad + apple cake
5. February 24th – Pasta with homemade rose sauce + bruschetta + S’mores Rice Krispie squares
6. March 3d – Minestrone soup + quesadillas + banana chocolate chip muffins
7. March 10th –Broccoli cheddar soup + one-pot spaghetti + lemon squares
8. March 17th – Steak fajitas + guacomole + Key lime pie

Click here to payFish in parchment is traditonally cooked in the oven. This recipe will be cooked on the stove. We will be making the fish wrapped in parchment in a skillet with a lid. The bonus will be NO CLEAN-UP! Along side we will be making a super yummy shaved Brussels sprouts slaw, and baked sweet potatoes topped with yogurt and chive mixture. If you don’t like sweet potatoes, just substitute a regular potato.

Click here to payBroccoli and cheddar cheese are such a great pairing. They provide the perfect flavour for this soup and there is an extra boost of protein and fibre added with a can of white beans. Once the soup is pureed, the texture is perfect and it is loaded with good nutrition. To make it a full meal, we will be making pizza in a muffin tin. The base is a tortilla shell, which is filled with traditional pizza ingredients. You will be able to customize these according to your own taste!

Click here to payThis pasta bake is similiar to a ‘lazy lasagna’. It is super easy to make and is also great for leftovers. If you are looking for the perfect breakfast, snacking, or lunchtime muffin, you need to try these apple cinnamon muffins. They have just the right amount of sweetness and are filled with fresh chunks of apple. Not to mention that the streusal on top is delicious.

Click here to payThese meatballs are a family favourite! They are served with a freshly made tzatziki sauce in a naan bread, pita, or lettuce leaves. If you don’t mix dairy and meat, no problem! The meatballs themselves are dairy free and you can serve tahini sauce instead of tzatziki (or even tomato sauce). We are making the most addictive Smore’s Rice Krispies squares for dessert!
